The Finale of HBO 24/7: Mayweather/Cotto follows Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and Miguel Cotto as they taper off and finish their final preparations for the big junior middleweight championship fight on May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, on HBO Pay-Per-View.
Cotto’s team will travel from Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada for fight week. This will be Cotto’s second fight with Cuban trainer Pedro Diaz who has orchestrated a plan with Cotto on how to defeat the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Saturday and to retain his WBA junior middleweight belt.
Mayweather is the favorite heading into the fight, but he trains as if he were the underdog, non stop training to keep his 35-year-old body in peak physical condition. Mayweather believes if you have the talent, train hard and dedicate yourself you can make it easy.
