The Ultimate Fighting Championship shares the stage on Cinco de Mayo May 5, 2012 with some of the biggest sporting events from PPV boxing Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, to the Kentucky Derby horse races at Churchill Downs, and UFC on FOX 3 “Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller live from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
This is the third UFC event televised on FOX’s flaghsip channel. UFC on FOX 3 features a lightweight main event between two of the toughest 155 pounders in the division the boxing and Jiu Jitsu specialist from Stockton, California Nate Diaz vs. the hometown boy from Whippany, New Jersey Jim Miller. And also on the Fox televised card a match up against two of the best wrestlers in MMA Josh Koscheck versus Johny Hendricks, the return of Alan Belcher against tough Brazilian jiu jitsu submission specialist Rousimar Palhares, and a heavyweight explosion between two heavy handed sluggers, Pat Barry vs. Lavar Johnson.
