To quote the great boxing trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. “If this fight (Pacquiao vs. Bradley) is on equal terms, than Bradley should win,” that is the same way I feel about the fight, if the fight is straight and no funny business going around it should be an easy victory for Bradley.
For the casual boxing fans this is an upset, but for the boxing fans who actually follow the sport 24/7 this isn’t an upset, and Bradley should be the favorite because Pacquiao already got exposed against an old Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley.
If the judges aren’t blind they will judge the fight for Bradley if it goes the distance, the only thing I see that might make the fight controversial is if Manny Pacquiao lunges in with his ugly, wild punches and head butts Bradley causing both of them to cut, the fight could get stopped and Pacquiao could win if the judges have him up on the scorecards.
What people don’t know about Tim Bradley is he doesn’t get hit much, he can brawl you and not get hit, he has never had a swollen face or severe damage, and Pacquiao has been swollen and battered many times. Don’t forget Pacquiao has been knocked out by journeymen already and lost, Bradley is undefeated and not washed up.
Freddie Roach already said that he feels Bradley will be aggressive, that goes to show you how much of a trainer Roach is because if he really studied tape on Bradley he would see that Bradley is no one trick pony, he is not Manny Pacquiao, he is actually a slick boxer with ring savvy who can brawl and box. Roach and his typical arrogance is going to make him look foolish when his cash cow Pacquiao loses to a guy who claims will not win one round against him.
I don’t want any excuses coming out of the Pacquiao camp for why he looked horrible and lost to Bradley. Be a sport and acknowledge when you were embarrassingly wrong about your predictions.
I ordered the fight because I can’t wait to enjoy Timothy Bradley tooling Manny Pacquiao and shutting all the Floyd Mayweather haters up for thinking this guy was on the same level or even had a chance against Mayweather.
All of the Pacquiao fanatics really irritate me. The Floyd Mayweather haters mainly Manny Pacquiao fans who don’t follow boxing or know anything about the boxing business are trying to ruin Floyd’s image again and calling him a ducker and coward because he demanded drug tests, well when Pacquiao loses to Bradley let’s see if you guys will still be talking.
