Felix Sturm, 33, born Adnan Catic, has fought his entire boxing career as a middleweight and has won the titles and lost them at different stages in his career. He is considered one of the best middleweights in the world and one of Germany’s most popular boxers.
Daniel Geale, 31, comes from Tasmania in Australia, and holds the IBF belt, with a record of 27 wins and his only loss was a split decision to Anthony Mundine in 2009. He is looking to make a name for himself by unifying the titles at 160-pounds and the first step is to get by the betting favorite Felix Sturm in his home turf of Germany.
