Primetime presents the return of the “Hitman” Ricky Hatton as he takes on former welterweight champion Vyacheslav Senchenko in a 12-round non title bout at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 7 PM.
Ricky Hatton, 34, (45-2, 32 KOs)is one of the most beloved boxers to ever come out of England, he hasn’t fought since his devastating knockout loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2009, and following that tough defeat he fell into a deep depression, even contemplating suicide over the Pacquiao loss and taking hard drugs to drown his sorrows. Hatton has cleaned himself up, and has rededicated his life to staying healthy and feels he is ready to give boxing one more shot, his opponent is Vyacheslav Senchenko, 35, (32-1, 21 KOs) of the Ukraine, a former WBA welterweight champion who has one loss on his record, a stoppage by former Hatton foe, Paulie Malignaggi.
