British boxing superstar Amir Khan returns to the boxing ring after his devastating knockout defeat to Danny Garcia in July, he will fight the undefeated Californian Carlos Molina and Sky Sports will broadcast the event live. Khan has dumped trainer Freddie Roach and regrouped by hiring trainer Virgil Hunter the head trainer of super middleweight champion Andre Ward. Khan (26-3, 18 KOs) felt since his back to back losses to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia it was time to change it up and work on his defense something he felt he was lacking while under Roach. Carlos Molina (17-0-1, 7 KOs) is a live underdog, although he mainly fought at lightweight and is coming up in weight to fight Khan, he feels he as the experience and underrated power to shock the Bolton native.
Khan vs. Molina takes place at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California.
