On December 8, 2012 two boxing legends and bitter rivals will square off in the ring once again as Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez enter the MGM Grand for a fourth time.
Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs), of the Philippines, and Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KOs), of Mexico, have been rivals since the first time they faced each other at featherweight back in 2004, that first meeting ended in a close controversial draw, the would meet again in 2008 this time at super featherweight that match ended in a close controversial decision for Pacquiao, and they would meet again in 2011 with the fight ending in another close controversial decision, each fight was so close that fans have argued who really won, the Marquez fans believe he was robbed in all three fights and the Pacquiao fans felt Pacquiao won all three. Pacquiao accepted a fourth fight with Marquez because he felt this rivalry needed closure and wants to try and end all questions, for Marquez he feels this is his opportunity and he doesn’t want to leave it in the judges hands.
