Former four-time world champion Amir “King” Khan finally returns home to England, with an exciting 12-round 143-pound catchweight fight against former lightweight champion Julio Diaz at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on April 26 on BoxNation.
Amir Khan (27-3, 19 KOs) of Bolton, England will take on tough veteran Julio Diaz (42-7, 29 KO) of Coachella, California at a catchweight of 143 pounds, and this will be Khan’s BoxNation debut and first fight in England since 2011 when he fought Paul McCloskey. Khan’s ultimate goal is to seek revenge on the two men who beat him at light-welterweight, Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia who will defend his belts against Zab Judah on the same day of Khan vs. Diaz at Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York.
Also on the Amir Khan vs. Julio Diaz live online stream card is undefeated American heavyweight and Olympic bronze medalist Deontay Wilder vs. British Olympic gold medalist Audley Harrison in a 10 round non title bout, British Olympian Anthony Ogogo will make his middleweight pro boxing debut against Kieron Gray, and Amir Khan’s younger brother Haroon Khan will also make his super flyweight pro debut.
