UK fight fans will be able to watch the Amir Khan vs. Julio Diaz fight live from the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England, but American fans will be able to watch a tape delay replay of the event along with highlights of 2012 British Olympic Bronze Medalist Anthony Ogogo pro boxing debut, and United States heavyweight Olympic Bronze Medalist Deontay Wilder.
Amir Khan is on the comeback trail and after suffering back to back defeats at the hands of Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia, he decided to cut ties with hall of fame boxing trainer Freddie Roach and train with Virgil Hunter best known for training super middleweight champion and Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward. Khan’s first fight under Hunter was a unanimous decision victory of former lightweight Carlos Molina, and now he will face the tough former lightweight champion Julio Diaz of Coachella, California in a 12 round catchweight (143-pounds) bout.
