Canelo Alvarez (41-0-1, 30 KOs) comes from Juanacatlan, Jalisco, Mexico and at only 22-years-old he has already amassed an impressive undefeated record and a championship title, his star status is already bright and shining in Mexico but he plans on crossing over to the American fans, and a victory over top American fighter Austin Trout is the first step to help him achieve it. Austin “No Doubt” Trout (26-0, 14 KOs) is a fighter that flew under the radar for a while, he first one the WBA title against the brother of Canelo, Rigoberto Alvarez, and has defend the title ever since, including his breakout performance against former multi-division world champion Miguel Cotto at the famed Madison Square Garden.
