Danny Garcia vs. Zab Judah, is a 12 round championship main event bout with Garcia’s WBC and WBA light welterweight titles. Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin vs. Fernando Guerrero will be the co-feature of the evening and will be a middleweight championship bout for Quillin’s WBO belt.
The main event is a can’t miss with two feuding east coast fighters one from Philly and one from Brooklyn going at it in what could be one of the fight of the year knockouts, Danny Garcia (25-0, 16 KOs) of Philadelphia and his brash trainer/father Angel Garcia have gotten under the skin of former world champion and hometown boy Zab Judah (42-7, 29 KOs), the two camps have been exchanging insults leading up to the ever since Angel Garcia and Zab Judah nearly came to blows at the prefight press conference to announce the fight. If the intensity is as heated as it was outside of the ring fans should expect fireworks on fight night.
