The Ultimate Fighter 17: Team Jon Jones vs. Team Chael Sonnen Finale pits two members of Team Sonnen, Kelvin Gastelum and Uriah Hall against each other in the final middleweight bout to determine the TUF 17 season winner. Coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen will square off in the Octagon at UFC 159 with Jones’ UFC light heavyweight title on the line. The TUF 17 finale will take place on Saturday April 13, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and televised on FX.
The main event of the evening will be a five round bantamweight non-title fight between former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber and top contender Scott Jorgensen, the second women’s fight in the UFC will be a bantamweight bout Meisha Tate vs. Cat Zingano to determine who will get a title shot at UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and coach against her on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, also on the card will be an exciting heavyweight match up between two hard hitters Travis Browne and Gabriel Gonzaga, and the opening bout will be a middleweight bout between Robert McDaniel and Gilbert Smith.
