FLOYD MAYWEATHER OUTCLASSED A GREAT FIGHTER

Robert Guerrero could beat Floyd Mayweather is what they were saying. Mayweather asked for a rematch clause against Guerrero just in case he lost. Mayweather is getting old and ripe for the taking. And Guerrero is a very good fighter. What Bull Crap! If you read my last article, I warned people to stop believing the hype that Robert “Ghost” Guerrero is a viable opponent.

Mayweather cherry picked Guerrero, like many of his past opponents. Just who did Guerrero beat anyway to get this fight? Roberto Guerrero an unknown fighter who has not beat anyone worthy of mentioning. Anyone can look good against much inferior opposition, and Guerrero is a B minus rated fighter.

Expect the spins to be coming. You’ll hear the masterful performance of Floyd Mayweather. Of course they won’t mention the inferior, cherry picked opponent. You’ll hear the greatness of his undefeated record. Yes, Mayweather just added a guy name Roberto Guerrero to it. From what the Mayweather fans and pro Mayweather writers will be parroting is that Mayweather just easily beat a great fighter, and expound on his greatness, that is what will reverberate throughout.

Watching it from live stream, I heard booing in the last round of the fight. Probably from those suckers that P.T. Barnum was talking about. Mayweather immediately promoted his opponent as a “true warrior, and true champion at heart.” And then Mayweather said he was looking to spend time with his family. It is always good when he is not beating and threatening them with violence.

This is the kind of fight we get when an undeserving fighter gets to fight in a big promotional Championship fight. Where was the pressure that Guerrero was supposed to inflict on Mayweather?

Showtime boxing did not get their money’s worth. Mayweather will cherry pick another opponent for Showtime in his next fight. HBO should be glad Mayweather is with Showtime. If Mayweather was already a cautious bore in his younger days, he will be more so as he ages. Another excuse of hurting his hand as the reason why he could not knock out Guerrero. Didn’t we hear that before, it’s getting old.

But there are suckers born every minute. And they will get suckered again into buying another Floyd Mayweather fight and expect a great fight from a cherry picked opponent.
