Showtime pay-per-view presents “May Day” Floyd Mayweather vs. Robert Guerrero for the WBC welterweight championship on May 4, Cinco de Mayo weekend. The biggest draw in all of boxing is back and he is taking on a hungry challenger in Robert “Ghost” Guerrero who held the interim WBC welterweight title while the champion Floyd Mayweather was serving a jail sentence.
Many questions are lingering going into this fight between Mayweather and Guerrero. Will Floyd still have the sharpness and reflexes he had or will he be rusty from the inactivity? Will Robert catch Floyd at the right time and pull off one of the biggest upsets since Buster Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson? Those questions will be answered on Saturday night live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Showtime PPV.
The Mayweather-Guerrero PPV will also have a stacked undercard line up, with a featherweight championship co-main event featuring the tough rugged WBC 126-pound champion Daniel Ponce de Leon putting his belt on the line against popular undefeated Abner Mares.
