Manny Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz told BoxingScene.com that the up coming November 23 Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios fight in Macau, China will also include strict random USADA drug testing as requested by team Pacquiao.
This is the same drug testing that Floyd Mayweather Jr. requested of Manny Pacquiao when they first negotiated for the super-fight only for Pacquiao’s side to request for a certain cut off date. Later on team Pacquiao agreed to take the tests only for Mayweather to offer a 40 million purse with no Pay-Per-View split causing the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao super fight to fall apart once again.
Should Manny Pacquiao look good against Brandon Rios and bounce back from his devastating KO loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, it could renew interest for a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao bout, but the likelihood of the fight happening are slim to none since there seems to be a new issue popping up that prevents the fight from happening.
