Former Puerto Rican amateur star, Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Rodriguez (5-0, 4 KO’s), has began his training towards his six professional fight in late August. “We are in pursuit of big fights for ‘Manny’ by the end of the year. He’s gonna be ready to fight for any regional title available at 115 pounds, and we understand that there will be no problems with that because of his outstanding amateur career” Rodríguez’s manager Juan Orengo said.
“Next week, I will have the exact date, and the venue most probably will be in the United States, between Orlando and New York. Nobody wants to fight him in Puerto
Rico”, Orengo ended saying. 20-year old Rodriguez commented: “I’m very motivated, in perfect condition and happy for my next bout. Lately my Puerto Rican fellow boxers have been defeated but I will not disappoint my people because I’m very focused on this, and I’m getting better on each fight”.
