The Ultimate Fighting Championship will light up Milwaukee, Wisconsin with UFC 164 Benson Henderson vs. Anthony Pettis at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on August 31, 2013.
UFC 164 will be headlined by a rematch between current UFC champion “Smooth” Benson Henderson and former WEC champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis. The two combatants first squared off in December 16, 2010 at WEC 53, Pettis beat Henderson for the WEC lightweight title, and is looking to dethrone him once again this time for the UFC belt.
The co-main event will feature two former UFC heavyweight champions Frank Mir vs. Josh Barnett. This will be the first time Barnett steps into the Octagon since winning the UFC heavyweight title from Randy Couture at UFC 36 in 2002.
Brandon Vera will return to the heavyweight division after campaigning at light heavyweight and he will take on Ben Rothwell.
