The Ultimate Fighting Championship kicks off the first MMA event on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) with UFC Fight Night 26 live from the the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, a star studded and stacked event featuring some of the UFC’s most exciting fighters with Shogun Rua vs. Chael Sonnen as the main event.
Mixed Martial Arts fans will certainly be satisfied with the fight card lineup. The return of heavyweight powerhouse Alistair Overeem who hasn’t fought since being knocked out by Antonio “Big Foot” Silva at UFC 156 will fight Travis “Hapa” Browne. Former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber will take on Iuri Alcantara in hopes of landing another title shot at bantamweight if he wins. Also on the card are exciting fan favorite fighters Matt Brown and Joe Lauzon.
