The Ulitimate Fighting Championship heads to Indianapolis, Indiana o August 28 for UFC Fight Night 27: Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann 2 which will be televised live on Fox Sports 1.
The main event of the evening will be a rematch between former WEC and UFC Interim welterweight champion Carlos “The Natural Born Killer” Condit and top contender Martin Kampman. The pair first touched gloves in the Octagon in 2009 when Condit made his debut at UFC Fight Night 18 after reigning as the WEC 170 pound champion, Kampmann won a close split decision. Since their first fight Condit went on to win the interim title against Nick Diaz but later lost a decision to champion Georges St-Pierre, Kampmann has never fought for the title. Also on the telecast is a can’t miss lightweight showdown between the always exciting Donal “Cowboy” Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos.
