Former 3 division world champion and pride of Puerto Rico, Miguel Cotto returned to the boxing ring on October 5th against tough Dominican-American slugger Delvin Rodriguez in a light middleweight non title fight at the Amway Center in Florida. Also on the card was up and coming lightweight contender Terence Crawford who fought Andrey Klimov.
The first bout of the Miguel Cotto vs. Delvin Rodriguez replay will be the heavyweight title fight between champion Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin which took place in Moscow, Russia. The fight itself was considered uneventful but HBO still showed it despite the lack of action because it was part of Wladimir’s chase at the historical 25 heavyweight title defenses record held by Joe Louis.
