HBO World Championship Boxing heads over to Moscow, Russia on October 5th for a special edition of heavyweight championship boxing Wladimir Klitschko vs. Alexander Povetkin. The fight is free for HBO subscribers and will be broadcast live.
Klitschko (60-3, 51 KO) holds the IBO, IBF, WBA, and WBO world titles, he is the longest reigning heavyweight champion behind American great Joe Louis and he is looking to continue the long streak of title defenses on Saturday night at the Olympic stadium in Moscow against title contender Alexander Povetkin.
Povetkin (26-0, 18 KO) is an undefeated heavyweight best known for winning the 2004 Olympic gold medal in Athens, Greece. This will be his biggest test and as an underdog he feels he has a lot to prove, will he be able to step up and win the title or will he lose and go down as another Klitschko victim? Those questions will be answered with live results during the Klitschko vs. Povetkin fight.
