One of British boxing’s biggest fights of the year, Carl Froch vs. George Groves, will be live streamed on AWETV for the American viewing audiences. The clash will be for the IBF and WBA super middleweight titles owned by Froch and will take place at the Phones 4u Arena (formerly M.E.N Arena) in Manchester, England on Saturday, November 23.
Nottingham’s own Carl “The Cobra” Froch (31-2, 22 KOs) is considered British boxing’s best pound for pound fight right now. He has fought all of the tough guys at 168 pounds from Andre Ward, Mikkel Kessler and Lucian Bute just to name a few and is known for his iron chin and willingness to mix it up in the ring to put on a show.
“Saint” George Groves (19-0, 15 KOs) is a very tricky boxer, he is best known for his win over Olympic gold medalist James DeGale. For Groves this is an opportunity of a lifetime to beat one of the best boxers in the world and make a name for himself in the super middleweight division. This is his first time fighting for a championship belt, he truly believes that he will defeat Froch and claim both titles in the process.
The Carl Froch vs. George Groves fight will be shown online through live stream video feed at AWETV.com at 3:00 PM ET/PT.
