Future Hall of Fame boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. was in attendance at last nights UFC 168 Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva 2 and Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate 2 fights.
Jones has entertained the idea of boxing former UFC middleweight MMA champion Anderson Silva for a few years ever since Silva said it was his dream to box the former multiple division boxing champion.
The fight was derailed twice, first when Silva was knocked out by Chris Weidman losing his belt, and then in the rematch last Saturday at UFC 168 when Silva snapped his leg in half losing the fight because he was unable to continue due to the horrible injury.
MMA journalist Ariel Helwani reported on the FOX UFC 168 post fight show after Anderson suffered the leg injury, Jones Jr. was still interested in boxing an MMA fighter and called out Nick Diaz who has shown interest in fighting some boxing matches before. UFC President Dana White said he would think about the idea.
