Fight fans can watch the entire non-televised undercard for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs. Bryan Vera II live online through TopRank.tv’s live streaming video feed. The event will start 6:30p ET/3:30p PT on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
The undercard bouts will feature rising star Oscar Valdez and former world lightweight champion Juan Diaz as well as undefeated prospects Ivan Najera, Jose Zepeda, Alex Saucedo, and Jerren Cochran.
Juan Diaz was one of HBO’s darlings, he held the lightweight championship and defended his titles multiple times before losing the belts to Nate Campbell in a shocking upset loss, and than retiring in 2010 to focus on his college degree after losses to Paulie Malignaggi and Juan Manuel Marquez. He recently cited that he was motivated even more after seeing Manny Pacquiao get knocked out cold by Marquez.
The entire Top Rank online fight card will feature seven fights before the main event broadcast on HBO Boxing headlined by Chavez Jr. vs. Vera rematch and co-featured by the featherweight WBO championship fight between champion Orlando Salido and newcomer Vasyl Lomachenko who is fighting for a belt in only his second professional bout.
