The most anticipated fight in British boxing for 2014 is a rematch between IBF and WBA super middleweight champion Carl Froch and George Groves which will take place on May 31.
The Froch vs. Groves 2 fight will take place at the famed Wembley Stadium in London, England, it will be filled with over 80,000 screaming fans.
The first fight was a barn burner, the build up to the fight and hype was intense and the action in the ring lived up to the hype. Early it appeared that Groves would dispose of the durable Nottingham native, with a devastating right hand at the end first round that sent Froch down hard to the canvas. Froch survived and came back strong to get a TKO victory in the 9th round.
The stoppage was considered highly questionable, many appeared that even though Groves was buzzed a bit he wasn’t fully out of it and should have been given a chance to fight on.
The weigh-in for the Carl Froch vs. George Groves II super middleweight fight will be live streamed on YouTube video.
