Mixed Martial Arts fans will be on there feet tonight when the Ultimate Fighting Championship comes to the SAP Center in San Jose, California for UFC on FOX 12: Robbie Lawler vs. Matt Brown Live, July 26.
Ruthless Robbie Lawler a long time favorite known for his brutal power punching style, has evolved into a more calculated and well rounded striker. He was impatient when he first fought in the UFC always trying to finish fights eagerly and many times leaving himself open to get countered, but with age and experience he has become a more scientific MMA boxer with calculated striking and improved defense.
Lawler’s opponent tonight is Matt “The Immortal” Brown. a true finisher who has ended his last five fights by knockout. Brown is on a resurgence as well, having suffered a few bad losses in his career, he was counted out and told by critics that he was washed up only to prove them wrong by going on a 7 fight win streak with all but one ending in a stoppage. This bout could determine who is next in line for a title shot against the UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks.
