The 27 city media tour to promote the upcoming November Manny Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri WBO welterweight championship Pay-Per-View event kicks of on August 25 at The Venetian Macao. The various stops and pressers will be lived streamed online through Top Rank promotions website.
Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is the Fight of the Decade and Filipino Congressman who is one of the biggest international boxing stars in the world, he will return to Macau on November 22 to defend his WBO welterweight title against live underdog and current undefeated WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri.
Algieri was a relative unknown from the New York area, until he defeated Pacquiao’s stablemate Ruslan Provodnikov for the WBO 140 pound title in one of the biggest upsets of the year. He is looking to continue the upset streak by beating Pacquiao and capture another WBO title in a different weight division.
The promotional tour will feature Manny Pacquiao and his team including long time trainer Freddie Roach, and Chris Algieri with his camp and trainer Tim Lane. The Pacquiao vs. Algieri PPV is promoted by Bob Arum, Joe DeGuardia, and Artie Pelullo.
