The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Stockholm, Sweden on October 4, to hold UFC Fight Night 53: Nelson vs. Story at the Ericsson Globe Arena. The event will be streamed live on the internet through Fight Pass.
The main event will be headlined by two top welterweights Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story. Nelson is a native of Iceland, and Story is a tough American fighter with a strong wrestling background.
Swedish native and former TUF contestant Akira Corassani will face Max Holloway in a featherweight bout that will lead into the main event.
Two other Swedish fighters will be showcased, Light Heavyweight Ilir Latifi will take on Jan Blachowicz of Poland and Niklas Backstrom will go up against Mike Wilkinson of England in a featherweight opening bout.
