HBO Sports presents 24/7: Pacquiao/Algieri and inside look at the training camps of WBO world champions Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri, before they face each other in the boxing ring on HBO Pay-Per-View November 22 in Macau, China.
Pacquiao is no stranger to 24/7 having been on the award winning serious several times already, but Algieri a true underdog story comparable to the movie Rocky will be making his debut. The Long Island native landed a shot at the Filipino legend, when he pulled off an upset victory over Pacquiao’s stablemate Ruslan Provodnikov capturing the WBO junior welterweight championship.
The cameras will follow Pacquiao alongside his hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach as they prepare in the Philippines and Algieri with his trainer Tim Lane as he prepares in Las Vegas.
The 30 minute episode is narrated by Liev Shreiber and will be the only episode aired before the fight.
