HBO Boxing After Dark heads to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for a triple header featuring a main event between two of the most exciting middleweight boxers today.
The main event on Saturday night will pit popular Canadian knockout artist David Lemieux against fearless Philly fighter Gabe Rosado.
Lemieux is known for his heavy hands but after a few setbacks including a stoppage loss to Marco Antonio Rubio he has found a new focus and serious dedication to the sport, he is looking to make a statement tonight against hoping to knockout Rosado and beat him worse than the king of the division Gennady Golovkin did.
Rosado is know for his heart and never say die attitude, he is a blue collar boxer from the tough streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and trained alongside legend Bernard Hopkins. He is coming off a sensational knockout of Bryan Vera and believes with his new trainer he will get another shot at the middleweight title.
The undercard will showcase rising light welterweight prospect Hugo Centeno Jr against James De La Rosa and Puerto Rican stand out Thomas Dulorme against the brash talking Hank Lundy in a light welterweight bout.
