The Ultimate Fighting Championship came to Melbourne, Australia on November 14 with the sports biggest female star UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey facing challenger Holly Holm, and selling over 50 thousand tickets at Etihad Stadium.
UFC 193 made history featuring two female championship bouts Rousey vs Holm and Joanna Jedrzejczyk (UFC women’s straweight champion) vs Valerie Letourneau headlining a Pay-Per-View event for the first time in history, and selling over 50 thousand tickets in a giant arena in Australia.
The main event was a huge upset victory by former boxing champion Holly “The Preachers Daughter” Holm, knocking out Ronda Rousey the most dominant female champion in UFC history in two rounds.
