This Saturday night, Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley will defend his WBO welterweight title against rugged pressure fighter Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios, live from the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Bradley vs. Rios main card will be shown on HBO, with the WBO featherweight championship as the co feature bout Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Romulo Koasicha to kick off the broadcast.
Fight fans can watch the non-televised card, online through Top Rank’s live streaming video feed.
Bradley and Rios both share two common opponents, Manny Pacquiao and Diego Chaves. Bradley fought Pacquiao twice, beating him the first time via controversial decision, and losing the rematch by unanimous decision. In the Chaves fight, Bradley was in tough with the rough fighter from Argentina, and wound up with a Draw. Rios fought Pacquiao losing a wide lopsided unanimous decision in China after Pacquiao got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez. When Rios fought Chaves he was fouled many times and won by Disqualification.
The winner of Bradley vs. Rios have the options of fighting Canelo Alvarez should he be victorious against middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, or a rematch with Manny Pacquiao depending on how dominant and impressive the winner looks, if the fight is an all action barn burner they could have a return bout.
