Stan Stanisclasse was a beloved boxing star known for his excellence both in and out of the ring. Without a known enemy in the world, friends and family were devastated when Stanisclasse was found dead, brutally shot point blank in the head. It didn’t take long for authorities to find the killer, former sparring partner, Darrell Telisme.
Telisme was no match for the more talented Stanisclasse and his jealousy and rivalry all came to a head in a bar fight the night before Stanisclasse’s murder. “Darryl potentially saw Stan as someone he needed to eliminate in order to have a shot at what it was he was hoping for,” tells Sports Psychologist Dr. Sari Shepphird to Crime Watch Daily. “What did Stan do to him… to deserve to die? What did Stan do…to deserve one gunshot… to the head so he had no chance [at] the hospital?” asks Stanisclasse’s mother, Canita Stanisclasse, in an exclusive interview with Crime Watch Daily. “I will never understand how you go from somebody getting the best of you to…shooting him in the head. What makes that a good idea?” adds Stanisclasse’s former coach, Dave Lewter.
