Showtime Championship Boxing presents Badou Jack vs. Lucian Bute and James DeGale vs. Porky Medina live on April 30, from the DC Armory in Washington, D.C.
Swedish born boxer Badou Jack trains out of the Floyd Mayweather boxing gym in Las Vegas, he holds the WBC super middleweight championship of the world and will defend the title against former champion Lucian Bute of Canada in the main event.
The first bout of the Showtime doubleheader is another super middleweight title fight, British Olympic Gold Medalist James “Chunky” DeGale will defend his IBF belt against tough Mexican fighter Rogelio “Porky” Medina.
The winners of tonight’s super middleweight championship double header next step would be a unification bout for the WBC and IBF titles.
