Friday May 6 will be the official weigh in for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Amir Khan WBC middleweight fight, and fight fans can watch the event live on YouTube video stream below. The event will begin at 5:30 PM ET/PT and will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, HBO is live streaming the event.
Canelo vs. Khan is for the middleweight title, the fight will be at a catchweight of 155 pounds. If either fighter doesn’t make the weight they will be given extra time, if they still cannot make the weigh they will be fined and the fight going forward is up to the opponent who made weight.
Also weighing in is the stacked May 7th undercard, David Lemieux and Glen Tapia will fight at middleweight and must make the 160 pound limit, Mauricio Herrera and Frankie Gomez will need to make the 147 pound welterweight limit, and Patrick Teixeira and Curtis Stevens will weigh in at the middleweight limit.
