The Ultimate Fighting Championship will show the UFC 200 Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt, Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes Pay-Per-View live on July 9th, available for purchase through YouTube live video stream.
UFC 200 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is the biggest mixed martial arts event of 2016. The main event was initially going to be a light heavyweight championship rematch between champion Daniel Cormier and former champ Jon Jones, but Jones tested positive for banned substances and was nixed from the card. UFC and MMA legend Anderson Silva stepped up to replace Jones. Silva is coming off of Gallbladder surgery in May, the bout is no longer for the light heavyweight title, and is reduced to a three round bout.
The women’s bantamweight championship Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes is now the headliner, while Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt remained in the co-main event. The key draw for UFC 200 is the return of Brock Lesnar, the biggest PPV star in the companies history.
Lesnar, the current WWE wrestler and former UFC heavyweight champion decided to return to the Octagon because he was not happy with the way he went out from the sport with a humiliating defeat to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 in 2011. Lesnar will be welcomed backed by hard hitting Super Samoan puncher Mark Hunt.
Another great bout in the star stacked event is featherweights Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo re-matching for the number 1 contender spot for the 145 pound title, currently held by Conor McGregor who rematches Nate Diaz at UFC 202.
The opening bout will feature two top heavyweight contenders, former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will take on Travis Browne.
