The Ultimate Fighting Championship heads to Manchester England the home of newly crowned UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping, where he will defend his belt for the first time in a rematch with Dan Henderson at UFC 204 on Oct 8, live on Pay-Per-View and live video streamed on YouTube.
Bisping won the title after he pulled off a shocking upset by knocking out Luke Rockhold in a fight where he was a huge underdog coming in and a last moment replacement filling in for former champion Chris Weidman who had to pull out due to an injury that required surgery.
In comes Dan Henderson an aging legend who is best known for his devastating H Bomb KO of Bisping. Henderson knocked out Bisping in their first meeting years ago and after dropping the British fighter out cold he followed up with one of the most brutal follow up shots in MMA history.
If Henderson wins tonight he will finally be able to capture UFC gold, having won titles in various organizations in two different weight divisions he has yet to capture the belt in the UFC. Bisping will be able to get revenge after being humiliated in their first fight if he wins tonight.
The co-main event of UFC 204 features another MMA legend, Vitor Belfort taking on Gegard Mousasi in a middleweight bout between two former PRIDE fighting veterans.
