The Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou super fight will take place on Saturday, October 28th before Halloween, and held at the Boulevard Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Before the biggest crossover event of 2023, the combatants will participate in the official weigh-in on Friday. The weigh-in will be available online via Top Rank Boxing’s YouTube Live stream.
Unbeaten British heavyweight prospects Fabio Wardley and David Adeleye are the co-main event and could still the show as they square off in a grudge match between two bitter rivals. The two rising stars had an altercation of the Fury vs Ngannou press conference red carpet and Wardley ended up with a cut. The two will settle the score on Saturday night.
In the main event Tyson Fury the current WBC and lineal heavyweight champion of the world will taking on former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou who is making his pro boxing debut.
Ngannou is hyped up as the hardest hitting fighter in combat sports. Fury believes he is the hardest puncher since he knocked out Deontay Wilder who was widely regarded as the biggest puncher in boxing.
The fanfare will be on full display on Friday’s weigh-in and this will be the last time two fighters will be face to face before they meet in the boxing ring.
The event is promoted by Queensberry, Top Rank and GIMIK Fight Promotions, it will be broadcast and live streamed on Top Rank on ESPN+ PPV in the United States as well as DAZN.
