SHOWTIME Boxing will air their final boxing event headlined by David Morrell vs. Sena Agbeko with a Free live stream prelim undercard on Showtime Sports YouTube page before the main broadcast on Saturday, December 16.
The 25-year-old David Morrell (9-0, 8 KOs) of Santa Clara, Cuba, made Minneapolis, Minnesota his home in the United States and he will fight in front of local fans at The Armory, a venue he has fought at several times.
In his last fight, the undefeated Morrell, knocked out Yamaguchi Falcao in the first round, it was an easy nights work and was a statement win to the 168-pound division.
The southpaw Morrell possesses knockout power and is only 25, he is one of the future stars in the division and currently holds the “Regular” WBA super middleweight title.
His opponent Sena Agbeko (28-2, 22 KOs), who is originally Accra, Ghana but lives and trains out of Nashville, Tennessee will enter the ring with more professional fight experience and the goal of upsetting the rising star handing him his first pro loss.
Agbeko believes he has the power to knockout Morrell and shock him, but he will need to back it up on fight night and really prove it in the ring.
