Conor Benn and Pete Dobson will put their undefeated records on the line in a 151-catchweight bout on the February 3rd Matchroom boxing event live from The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The Benn vs. Dobson event will also feature a FREE live stream preliminary card Before The Bell on YouTube before the main broadcast on YouTube.
British boxing star Conor Benn (22-0, 14 KOs) is eager to continue his rise to title contention on Saturday night as he takes on fellow undefeated opponent Peter Dobson (16-0, 9 KOs) of The Bronx, New York in an agreed upon catchweight fight set for 151 pounds.
Both fighters made the weight easily on Friday and are ready to fight. The 27-year-old Benn who had controversy after failing pre-fight drug tests maintains his innocence and won’t let the negative stories take away from his goal of becoming a world champion.
Dobson, 33, believes Benn is a hype job and vows to expose him on Saturday night. The New Yorker hasn’t fought since 2022 but doesn’t believe the lay off will make him rusty, just well rested.
In the co-main event, undefeated American southpaw Austin Williams (15-0, 10 KOs) takes on undefeated African fighter Armel Mbumba Yassa (10-0, 7 KOs) in a 10-round middleweight bout.
The Before The Bell prelims will feature two fights, George Liddard taking on Andrew Buchanan in a 6-round middleweight bout, and Jimmy Sains going up against Alejandro Avalos in a middleweight bout set for 4 rounds.
