Canelo Alvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs) will put his unified WBC, WBO, and WBA super middleweight titles up against the powerful, unbeaten Edgar Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs).
This 12-round title fight features the experienced Mexican champion, known for his dominant performances and slick boxing skill, going up against the rising Puerto Rican contender from Brooklyn, NY.
As Canelo looks to maintain his super middleweight dominance, Berlanga is determined to capture his first major title and demonstrate his skill in the ring.
In the co-main event, Cuban WBA middleweight champion Erislandy Lara will defend his title against former super lightweight and welterweight world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia. This will be the first bout for Garcia at 160 pounds, if he beats Lara he will become a three-division world champion and further add to his resume as a hall of fame caliber fighter.
